Keep your uncut caramel apple refrigerated. To store your partially cut apple, try to remove the stick and store in an airtight container. To keep apple from turning brown, apply some citrus juice or lemon lime soda to the cut portions.
Our caramel apples will last 2 - 3 weeks, in the refrigerator, before they are cut. Once cut, the apples will typically last two to three days.
To make it easier to slice, you should allow your caramel apple to come to room temperature. Remove it from the wrapper and cut about 1/4" from the stick, to avoid the core. If you've purchased a Simply Caramel or Salted Caramel apple, you'll want to remove the wrapper while the apple is still cold but wait to slice it until it comes to room temperature.
